Two eye-catching custom structures were designed and installed for Octapharma on Westlake Drive in Charlotte, NC. These structures are a unique design called a SKY Manta. The sail structures are self-supporting and have the least number of vertical columns required to minimize the footprint on the property. Special consideration in form and function were paramount in engineering and design. The structures are approximately 40’x20’ and uses High Density Shade fabric to mimic a flying Manta Ray. These structures provide UV block of 83%. 
Octapharma Plasma owns and operates plasma collection centers throughout the United States. The plasma is used to manufacture drugs such as those used in intensive care and emergency-medicine settings, as well as in the treatment of chronic diseases and immune and coagulation disorders.
