Custom Shaded Play Area for Raleigh Residents
Completed in November 2024, a custom group of 4 shade structures will create a comfortable atmosphere at Gibson Play Plaza in Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, NC—opening in spring 2025!
The details:
- Two triangle structures: three-point shade sail with columns, one attaching to play structure
- Two rectangle Shade sail structures with columns, one attaching to play structure
- Custom steel column color to match the play structure with sails in Desert Sand
We worked closely with the play set contractor to
provide a tab for the sail attachment and reinforce the footers of the play set so they could safely withstand wind loads and uplift from the sails.
